Armando Martinez

ARMANDO MARTINEZ passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the age of 92. He was a loving husband, father, and brother and will be greatly missed. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corp and was the recipient of the Purple Heart for action in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lolly Martinez, his daughter, Margarita A. Mahoney and his sister, Elena M. Cook. He is survived by his daughter, Grace Martinez and his sister, Guillermina M. Lujan. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
