Armando Gallegos

Armando Gallegos, a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather, died at the age of 82 on Friday, December17, 2010. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. He had retired after many years of service at Fort Bliss where he was a computer systems analyst and was also retired from the U. S. Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He loved all his children, was especially proud of all his grandchildren and enjoyed his two dogs, Farky and Pinky. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Bertha E. Gallegos, parents Juan Gallegos and Virginia Guerra Gallegos, his sisters Virginia Gallegos, Rosario Romero, Petra Betancourt, Lydia Navarro, and brother Samuel Gallegos. He is survived by his children: Leticia E. Gonzalez, Gilberto A. Gallegos and wife Evelyn, Adrian J. Gallegos and wife Vivian; grandchildren Josue J. Gallegos and wife Jessica, Isaac E. Gallegos and wife Adriana, Rebecca Gallegos, Nations A. Gallegos, Austin C. Gallegos and Dallas E. Gallegos. The family wishes to thank the staff at White Acres for their wonderful care of our father. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday December 21, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. A service will be held at 9:45 on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 11:00 am. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
