You never said “I'm leaving” You never said “goodbye” You were gone before we knew it, And only God knew why. In Life we loved you dearly In death we love you still In our heart you hold a place That no one could ever fill It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone For part of us went with you The day God took you home Things will never be the same And all though it hurts so bad We will smile whenever we hear your name And be proud you were our Dad. Armando Chavez, 70 passed away on December 6, 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Lourdes Chavez. His loving children Sandra Chavez-Villegas, Erick Chavez and Jessica Chavez survive him. His grandchildren Steven, Aron, Ivan, Mia, Sofia, Mikey, Gael, Adan and Abel. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 4 pm to 9 pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 12 pm at St Paul Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home - East.
