Apolonio B. Lopez

Apolonio B. Lopez Jr., 71, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Manuela (Nellie) Lopez; daughter, Leticia Lopez; brother, Dolores Lopez; sisters, Benita Lopez, Delfina Diaz, Connie Talley & Lily Barcena; grandchildren, Robert Melendez, Samantha Garcia, Brichelle Lopez & Mark Lopez. His passions were his family, especially his grandchildren; horses, working especially trucking, farming, and ranching. He was well loved and his mark will be recognized by his loved ones for generations to come. Visitation will be held from 4-9 pm with a Vigil at 7:00 pm on Monday, November 17, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas located at 9521 North Loop. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m.on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9205 North Loop. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be: Richard Lopez & Lester Talley; pallbearers: Daniel A. Barcena, Raymundo Guerra, J.R. Patton & Daniel Lopez. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Americas.
