Antonia O. Almodovar

Antonia Ortiz Almodovar, 68, went to the Lord on January 29, 2011 at home surrounded by family. She was born to the late Jesus and Victoriana Ortiz on December 16, 1942, in Delicias, Chihuahua. She is survived by her sons Marco, Alejandro, Jesse, and daughter Ana. Antonia is also survived by 11 grandchildren Fernanda, Dannia, Marco, Samantha, Alex, Madeline, Ana Paula, Pablo, Jacqueline, Sienna, and Sofia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus. Our mother was loved by many and will be deeply missed as she dedicated her life to family and friends. Though we are left with a void in our hearts, we know that she is in a better place, where she will continue watching over her family and smiling down on us. We love you Mom, Grandma, friend and will forever have you in our thoughts. Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 pm, Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Homes-East, with a Vigil at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at St. Piux Catholic Church. Services will be entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes, 750 N. Carolina, El Paso, TX 79915.
