Anthony "Tony" Tejeda

Anthony “Tony” Tejeda, my dad, went to be with the Lord on Thursday February 26, 2009. His heart of gold and giving spirit will be remembered by so many lives that he touched along his journey. My dad was born in El Paso, Texas to Tillie and Antonio Tejeda. My dad never knew a stranger and cared for everyone in his path. He lived a blessed life and filled the lives of countless others with laughter and joy. He will be greatly missed by: his mother Tillie Tejeda, beloved wife Irene Ciriza Tejeda, sisters Hilda Quintana, Dolores Gary, Alicia Gomez, and Billie Skidmore, his aunt Velia Gomez and me, his “monster”, Kristine Annette Tejeda. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 4-9 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas with Vigil service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas.
