Anthony "Tony" Evans

Tony Evans, born on December 25, 1949, passed to his home with Christ on February 7, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Vicky Evans, and elder daughter, Joy Evans-Aryes. His wife of 46 years, Nancy, daughter Jane Concha, sons-in-law Nicolas Concha and Luke Aryes, as well as grandchildren Alexander, Sebastian, and Juliana Concha all grieve his passing and will miss him tremendously. Tony, as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, cousin and friend to so many, was greatly loved. He did an excellent job in his many roles; Bible study leader, high school teacher, athlete, hiker, backpacker, amateur photographer and poet. Yet he wanted his identity to be solely “Faithful Christ-follower.” His memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, March 27, at 10:00 AM, at Coronado Baptist Church, 501 Thunderbird Drive, El Paso, Texas.
