Annelise L. Barela

Annelise L. Barela, of El Paso, TX passed away peacefully Wednesday December 16, 2009. She was born April 28, 1942 in Hurdal, Norway to Anna Lund and Josef Risse. She was preceded by husband Ralph Z. Barela. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend. Annelise lovingly raised her sons and always showed such thoughtfulness, real interest, concern and selfless dedication to her entire family. She did so much for all of us and asked nothing in return. Her loyalty to family was unquestionable and we all felt cared for and loved tremendously. Annelise lived her life with positive energy, courage, and strived to spread happiness. She will be missed beyond what any words can express. She is survived by her three sons Donald, James and wife Veronica, Chris and wife Alicia; three grandchildren Shana, Ryan, and Allison; brother Bjarte, sister Margit, and many other beloved family members. May you rest in peace knowing you are in our hearts forever. As you water your beautiful plants in heaven, we know we are all together always & forever.
