Anna R. Coffman

Anna R. (Ring) Coffman, 90, of El Paso, TX died Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was born to the late Frank and Barbara (Jezberger) Ring, September 20, 1921 in Baltimore, MD. Anna served in the WAC between 1942 -1945 and was a member of the HQ 15th Reinforcement Command in Wiesbaden, Germany and then entered Civil Service until 1947. She married the late Robert A. Coffman on April 5, 1947. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Coffman and fourteen brothers and sisters. Anna is survived by three children: Patsy Bruns (Jack) of Carpentersville, IL; Jeanne VanderRoest (Ron) of Sanger, TX and Rosemary Coffman of Austin, TX; by four beloved grandchildren: Tammy VanderRoest, Ron Alan VanderRoest (Kelly) and Travis and Bridget Haby; and three great-grand children: Hayden and Hadleigh VanderRoest and Maddox VanderRoest; her sister Margaret Vroman (Ed) and many nieces and nephews. Committal services will be held at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are being handled by Sunset Funeral Home Northeast (915) 755-4494. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home in El Paso, TX where Anna spent almost the last six years of her life.
