Anita Levine

Anita Levine, 89, formerly a resident of Rockville Center, New York for over 55 years and her last 5 years of El Paso, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 23rd. She was the beloved wife of Michael Levine, with whom she shared 68 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, New York on July 26, 1918, she was the daughter of Celia and Max Kramer and sister of David Kramer. She was active as a Homemaker and as a Travel Agent in New York. She loved to travel the globe to find interesting places for her clients to visit. She always provided solid support for her family and friends. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by daughter, Roberta and husband, Lewis Okin of New York; son Barry Levine and wife, JoAnne of El Paso; son Lance Levine and wife, Cecilia of El Paso; Grandchildren; Brian, Alex and Rebecca Okin, Mark Levine and wife Elana, Andrea and husband Jeff Spier; Lance M. Levine, Anthony Levine, Rachel and husband Brittain Davis; Chia and James Stewart, Emma and Doug Schwartz and Lawrence and Gabriela Wollschlager. Great grandchildren are Mayela and Cole Levine, Sophia Spier and McKenzie and Taylor Stewart. The family wishes to give special thanks to the outstanding caregivers of Home Instead and Hospice of VNA, all of whom brought comfort to Anita and her family. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, June 29th at 2:00 pm at the Monte Vista, 1575 Belvidere, El Paso, Texas.
