Angelita Marin

Angelita Marin, 94, entered into eternal rest on February 24, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by her Husband; Alfredo Marin, Parents; Lucio and Dorotea Granado, Brothers; Candelario Granado, Ismael Granado, Petronilo Granado, Sisters; Maria De La Zerda, Lucia Valdez, and Agueda Martinez. Angelita is survived by her loving daughter; Melinda (Sam) Casillas. Also leaving behind 3 grandchildren, Crystal, Ariella and Sammy Casillas. And 5 great grandchildren to cherish her memory. Angelita was a caring and giving individual. All those she welcomed into her home were immediately offered sustenance. She believed in sharing and helping others in any way she could. We've all been blessed to have you in our lives! We love you and we miss you! Until we meet again! Pallbearers: Samuel Casillas, Samuel A. Casillas. A Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a Rosary being held from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Our lady of Mount Carmel Church,131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Our lady of Mount Carmel Church,131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes- Americas. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank and the Humane Society of El Paso Animal Shelter.
