Angelina "Kena" Garza

Angelina “Kena” Garza was welcomed into her heavenly home on June 14, 2009. She was the loving center of her family who adore her and will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Francisco Garza, brother; Ruben Salcido and two sisters; Mary Valencia and Raquel Rey. She is survived by her children Richard Garza (Mickie), Yolanda Silva (Nick), Maria Elena Perez (Fidel), Irma Calderon (Jimmy) and Norma Rodriguez; two sisters-in-law; Shirley Garza and Rosa Salcido. She is leaving a legacy of love and devotion with her 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Special thanks are extended to her caregivers, Socorro and Neli and to Trinity Foster Homes. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm Thursday, June 18, 2009 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am Friday, June 19, 2009 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
