Angela S. Whiteman

 Angela S. Whiteman, age 100, of El Paso, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 13, 2023. Angela was born in 1923.

Angela is survived by her children: Dolores W. Horiuchi (Norman), Raymond H. Whiteman Jr. (Leslie), Cecilia G. Whiteman, and Edward R. Whiteman (Kyia). Her grandchildren: Elisa H. Woods (Archie), Jason Horiuchi (Katie), Kristin Thomas (Darryl), Angela Whiteman, Mauro Whiteman (Julia), Jesse Whiteman, Corissa Bell (Bion), Ryan Whiteman (Alyssa), Rhonda Duran (Julian), Rhaine Whiteman and Rachel Whiteman.

In addition to her loving children and grandchildren, Angela was blessed with 11 great grandchildren: Jaiden Woods, Bliss Woods, Madeline Horiuchi, Ariana Whiteman, Kara McDonald, Audrey Bell (Diego), Seth Bell, Kelsey Tranthom (Aaron), Connor Whiteman, Claire Duran, Electra Duran and one Great-Great Granddaughter Sophia Bell-Gonzalez.

Angela also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Angela was greeted in Heaven by her mother Cayetana Solis and her father Pedro Solis, husband Raymond H. Whiteman, son Gilbert Whiteman and all her brothers and sisters: Maria Martinez, Natalia Romero, Esperanza Sanchez, Beatrice A’Hearn, Lilia Phillips, Julieta Lopez, Pedro Solis and Rafael Solis.

Our mother Angela, also called Lito and Nana, was a very loving, happy, and giving person. She stayed in this world to ensure her family became “born-again” Christians as she loved the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and her family very much.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home (4631 Hondo Pass): Visitation:4:00-8:00 pm, Prayer Service 6:00 by Pastor Charles Nieman, Abundant Church.

Committal will be at 9:00 a.m. on July 28, 2023 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Ft. Bliss National Cemetery), El Paso, Texas.
