Angela Z. Prieto

Angela Z. Prieto passed away quietly surrounded by her family on November 14, 2010. She was preceded in death by her son Manuel Jr. She is survived by her husband Manuel M. Prieto, her daughters Corine Prieto, Dorinda Matias and her husband Javier R., Diana Grigsby, Eileen LeMay, Angela Olson, seven grand-children and one great-grand child. Angela was very civic minded and donated many years of time and effort to the National Republican Party and to the El Paso Home Builders Association. She always stressed the importance of an education; in lieu of flowers her family requests that contributions be made in her memory to The University of Texas at El Paso for the Prieto Endowed Scholarship. All check should be mailed to UTEP, Development Office, Kelly Hall, 7th Floor, 500 W. University Ave., El Paso, Texas, 79968-0524. Angela leaves us with wonderful memories. Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 pm, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Services entrusted to the care of Sunset Funeral Home.
