Andrea Alvarez

Andrea Alvarez, 79, joined Our Heavenly Father on January 5, 2011. Andrea is now in Heaven where she has wanted to be with her husband, Rafael; son, Ralph; daughter, Carmen and numerous family and friends that have gone before her. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and friends and especially preparing Tamales during the Holidays for all to share! She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Myra and great grandson, Julian who took special care of her. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Javier and Kathy Alvarez and her son and daughter-in-law, Jesus “Jesse” and D’Ann Alvarez; 9 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. The Alvarez Family woud like to thank everyone for all their love and support during this time. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7pm, Monday, January 9, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-East at 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am, Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Little Flower Catholic Church located at 171 Polo Inn Road. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
