Anastacia T. Vilchis

August 23, 1929 — August 22, 2011

Our beloved mother, sister, wife, grandmother and great grandmother who had a heart of gold, Anastacia Tellez Vilchis 81, was granted her angle wings on August 22, 2011. Her final days were spent, surrounded by family and friends that Anna had touched throughout her prosperous and memorable life. The quality of her existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which she lived. Her gentle smile, laugh, and open arms of love brought so much joy to her family. She gave us all such courage and hope, reminding us of all the preciousness in life. Born in El Paso on August 23, 1929. She is preceded by her husband Jesus Vilchis deceased on March 3, 2004 with whom she would have been married to for 54 years. She is survived by her sister Alicia Duran, and her six daughters, Anna Rebecca Ruczko (Kenneth Ruczko), Anna Patricia Conger (Lloyd Conger), Anna Leticia Luciano (Don Luciano), Anna C. Rivera (Fernando Rivera), Anna Maria Castaneda (Enrique Castaneda), and Elizabeth Eacker. Also survived by twenty grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 26, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
