Ana Maria Mendoza

Ana Maria L. Mendoza, (Anita) was taken by our Lord January 26, 2008. She was Born July 25, 1936. Survived by her son; Ricardo Mendoza Jr. his wife Rita Mendoza, grandsons; Hector Elias & Victor Isaac Mendoza, Granddaughters, Cynthia Marie & Celeste Victoria Reyes. Her extended loving family members, Yvonne, Daniel and Ayden Fouque, Gabriel, Cristina, Brandan and Andrew Ramirez, her 1 great-granddaughter, Anjelina Soraya Mendoza and Ivana Hernandez. She is survived by her sisters; , Eva Velasquez, Virginia Ramirez, Gloria (Fernando) Rodriguez, Dora (Antonio) Rodriguez, Magdalena (Vicente) Lechuga, Margarita Calderon & Esther Lerma. Surviving brothers, Chris (Celia) Lerma, Ramon (Suki) Lerma Jr., Roberto Lerma & Rodolfo (Ana) Lerma, surviving in-laws; Lydia Clarkston, Carlos (Carmen) Mendoza, David (Martha) Mendoza, Joe (Bertha) Mendoza, Roberto (Paz) Mendoza, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband; Ricardo (Richie) Mendoza and her father; Ramon Lerma, mother; Elisa R. Lerma, sisters; Martha Vega & Irene Blevins, also Mrs. Gregoria Mendoza her beloved mother-in-law. Ana worked for Farah Mfg. for 25 yrs. She later went to the El Paso Jewish Community Center, where she found a renewed lift in her life in the lives of the children she cared for. She dearly loved her family, friends and children. She always had a smile & a kind heart for everyone. She is the ray of sunshine wherever she goes. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm on Thursday, January 31, 2008 with a Vigil at 7:30 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 12 pm on Friday, February 1, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Carlos Mendoza, Joe Mendoza, Hector Mendoza, Isaac Mendoza, Gilbert Velasquez & Albert Calderon. Honorary pallbearers will be; Chris Lerma, Ramon Lerma Jr., Roberto Lerma, Rodolfo Lerma, Roberto Mendoza, Fernando Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez and Vicente Lechuga. Servives entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
