Ana Maria Adauto Ortega

Ana Maria Adauto Ortega passed away peacefully,

Saturday June 25, 2022 at home, surrounded by her girls, daughters Veronica and Sabrina, and granddaughter Marissa.  Ana is preceded in death by her parents, Ricardo Sr. and Evangelina Adauto, brothers Ricardo Jr. and Armando Adauto, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her beloved daughter Vanessa. 

Ana is a proud Loretto Academy graduate, class of 1961.  She achieved her Associates Degree in 1979 and became a teacher’s aide. Ana retired from Lawyers Titles 2008.

Ana lived her life by faith, family and service.  With unconditional love she cared for her aunts and volunteered at St. Francis Xavier and St. Luke Catholic Churches.  She taught religious education, served as altar society President and assisted in fundraising.

Bringing family together was of great importance to Ana.  She always found a reason to have a party.

She is survived by her brothers, Javier and Gilbert Adauto, sisters, Armida McDonald and Alicia Romero and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Rosary will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at Sunset Funeral Home- West with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 am at St. Luke Catholic Church, 930 E. Redd Rd., El Paso, Texas 79912.

The family requests in lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Luke Catholic Church altar society or St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
