Alonso Q. Sena

January 25, 1930 — February 14, 2009

Alonso was a compassionate and hard working man who began his journey in the U. S. Army. He retired from Sun Metro after 20 years to spend his golden years with his family. Sena was a man full of wisdom and love and there was no limit to what he would do for his family. Alonso was a devoted husband to his survived wife of 53 years Imperia M. Sena. A wonderful father to Alonso Jr., Gustavo, and Violeta Sena. An even better grandpa to Jessica, Valerie, Franceska, Melynna, Alexus, and Nicko. Grandpa Lonso was a loving great-grandpa to Paris, Prehzli, and Poem. He is also survived by his additions to the Sena family: Daughters-in-law Estella and Sylvia, Grand-sons-in-law James and Marcus, It was so sudden when God decided to take you from us. God chose to take you on day of love and we can all see why, but it was so sudden. We need your strength grandpa to help us heal our broken hearts. We miss and love you so much. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast from 5-9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will Monday, February 23, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10:00 am followed by burial at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
