Allen W. Davis

ALLEN WALLACE DAVIS passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the age of 86. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and will be greatly missed. He proudly served his country earning the Republic Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, Bronze Star Metal and the Army Commendation Medal with Valor. He retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant Major after serving 23 years and worked subsequently in the oil drilling industry and later, as a school bus driver. He was preceded in death by his wife Graciela Davis, his sons; Phillip Allen Davis, Wayne Ruben Davis and James Patrick Davis. He is survived by his sons; Wendell Pierce Davis and his wife Oksana, William Eric Davis, daughter-in-law Minjin Davis, his sister Joan Lee Davis, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00AM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N.
