Alicia (Licha) Villareal Garcia

Alicia Villareal Garcia (Licha), 93 years old, El Paso Texas, passed away July 22, 2022 peacefully in her sleep in Albuquerque, NM.  Alicia was born in El Paso on March 15, 1929.  Alicia is preceded in death by her parents; Julian and Manuela Villareal, husband; Jacobo, son; Richard, granddaughter; Sandra, and niece; Bertie Sanchez.

She is survived by her sister, Emma V. Martinez, and her loving sons, Larry, Ernie, David, Robert, Art, spouses, and grandchildren/great grandchildren.         

Alicia had an unconditional love for everyone, always smiling laughing. She loved El Paso, and her doggie pal; Snickers who has been with her the last eight years. Being around her was a blessing since you always left feeling more at peace.  She also liked chili salsa, Mariachis, sports, and loved to dance. She will be truly missed.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm on Thursday, August 04, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.  Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00am on Friday, August 05, 2022 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant Road.  Committal Service to follow at 10:30am at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, (East Shelter).
