ALICIA RIVERA HERNANDEZ, 79, passed away January 5, 2013 in a local hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. Resident of El Paso for 48 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Hernandez, Sr. and daughter, Susana Hernandez. Survived by Son, Jesus Hernandez, Jr. daughters, Alicia Nevarez, Laura Pantoja, Leticia Ramirez, Martina Rocio Aguilera, and Mary Lou Casas. 15 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Guadalupe Ramirez, Socorro Herrera, Celia Perrea, Leonor Navarro, Anita Contreras and Cecilia Garcia†. Several Nephews and Nieces. Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2013 4 to 9 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-Carolina. Rosary to be recited at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel-Carolina. Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 9:00 am, Saturday at San Antonio De Padua Parish Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr. Pallbearers will be Grandsons, Freddy Nevarez, David Nevarez, Jesus Pantoja, III, Ruben Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez, III, Diego Ramirez, Andy Ramirez, and Eddie Aguilera, II. Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery. We’d like to extend a special thank you to Sierra Providence East ICU and Telemetry staff and her extended family at La Victoria Adult Day Care Center.
