Alicia C. Balderrama

Alicia C. Balderrama, 80, it is with great sorrow that we annouce the passing of our mother Alicia. She lived in Canutillo, Texas. Passed away April 17, 2012 in Las Cruces, NM. She was born in Estacion Terrazas, Chihuahua, Mexico to Miguel and Tranquilina Favela Corona on February 12, 1932. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Federico Venzor Balderrama. She is survived by her sons, Benjamin, Robert, Fred, Joe, Frank, Juan and Jesus; daughters, Leticia and Maria; brothers, Toribio and Oscar; sisters, Yolanda and Irma. She is also survived by numerous granchildren. Alicia worked at Old El Paso in Anthony, Texas for 32 years. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at La Posada Mesilla Valley Hospice. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, April 20, 2012 at San Francisco de Assisi Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
