It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Alice M. Escalante, a faithful wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and tenderhearted great-grandmother. She was our Beautiful Queen and our pillar of strength and love. Mrs. Alice M. Escalante departed this life on Friday November 3, 2023, in the comfort of her home in El Paso, Texas, and surrounded by loved ones, leaving a huge void in our hearts that will never be filled.
“Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4)
Mrs. Escalante was born to parents Federico Marin and Elvira Terrones on July 23, 1940, and until the age of 83 she was a beacon of love and kindness. She touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her and her memory will forever be engraved in our hearts.
“Therefore, you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.” (John 16:22)
Throughout her life, Alice displayed such remarkable strength, resilience, and a beautiful sense of humor with an infectious laughter that would lighten up the darkest of days. Her unwavering love, dedication, and unbreakable bond to her family were the cornerstones of her existence and we will be forever grateful.
“Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”

Alice M. Escalante is survived by:
“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” (Proverbs 31:26)
She was not only a devoted wife, and loving mother; she was also a faithful child of God and passionate about her Catholic Faith as her dedication brought joy to those around her.
As we bid our loving farewell and respectfully remember Mrs. Alice M. Escalante as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a loyal friend, and a compassionate soul who touched our lives with her presence. Her spirit lives on through the love she shared and the countless lives she impacted.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd, El Paso, TX 79936. A Graveside will follow at 1:30 PM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home - Americas.
