Alfredo Soto

Alfredo “Freddy” Soto, 58, passed away June 22, 2009 after a two-year battle with cancer. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, an avid golfer, photographer and a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of ’69. Survivors of his devoted family are wife, Anna Soto, daughter, Lynette Montes and husband Agustin Montes, daughter-in-law, Cory Soto, sister, Celia Zarate and husband Rudy Zarate, brother, Mike Soto and wife Martha Soto. Grandchildren include Nicholas, Matthew and Cassandra Montes and Cruz Soto. His son, Freddy Soto, Jr. preceded him in death as did his father, Miguel Soto and his mother, Inez Soto. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews and many dear lifelong friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Friday, June 26, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, Chapel of Remembrance with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
