MSgt Alfred “Golpho” Rodriguez USMC (Retired), 84, passed away Sunday October 7th. A resident of El Paso, Alfred was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, recipient of the Purple Heart and Korean Service Medals. He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad. He is survived by wife Elvira and sons Alfred, Robert, Jim, Gilbert and Michael. Daughter-in-laws Deborah, Norma, Brenda, Gloria and Lillian. Grandchildren Erica, Kelli, Daniel, Alyssa and Madison. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 6:00pm on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 12:00pm at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
