Alfred Torres

Al Torres Jr. went to Heaven on October 25, 2008. He was a loving Husband, the most awesome Dad a child could have and proud father. He was always there for his children’s activities. Al was the Best Big brother anyone could ask for. He was a wonderful Uncle. Al was not only a loyal friend but a man with one of the biggest servants’ heart that made any organization proud. Alfred proudly served as a fourth degree Knight of Columbus in many events including as a Faithful Navigator. He served in the ACTS music ministry; he was the choir director at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for the 9:30am Sunday mass for over 25 years. He had a servant heart and lived his life to serve the Lord. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Irma Torres, and brother, Victor Torres. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Torres; sons, Isaac and Aaron Torres; daughter, Marie Torres; brother, David Torres and sister, Grace Torres. Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Visitation from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Isaac Torres, Aaron Torres, David Torres, Gary Onopa, Dennis Onopa, Michael Thompson, Don Stenson, and Juan Guerra; Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
