Alfonsa Zamora

Alfonsa Zamora was born April 2, 1913, in Fort Summer, New Mexico, and was called home by our Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the age of 94. She was the daughter of Martin and Maria Zamora. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Ernesto Guriales. She is survived by her sister, Domitilia Vasquez, her daughters, Ruby Marquez, Virginia Hines, Elena Gomez, Juanita Balderas, Pilar Alvarado. Her sons, Fred Balderas, Pete Balderas, Gavino Balderas, Alfredo Balderas, Gilbert Balderas, Johnny Zamora, and Pete Balderas, Jr. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alfonsa enjoyed several activities such as sewing, listening to music and going to the casino; however, her passion was spending time with her family. She enjoyed the simple things in life. She will be greatly missed by all those who were touched by her life. She will forever be in our hearts. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, Chapel of Remembrance with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, March 21, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Interment to follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes West.
