Alejandro Guerra

On April 12, 2014 at 5:11 am God called home an angel after a sudden and short illness. Alejandro Guerra was born October 26, 1977 to Agustin and Loretta Guerra. A lifelong El Pasoan, he fulfilled his dream of joining the police department where he proudly served for 14 years receiving several recognitions but his biggest honor was being a member of the swat team. He was a devoted husband to Veronica Guadalupe for 12 years, a loyal brother to Jose (Yvette) and Gabriel, a consummate son-in-law, a beloved brother-in-law, and a hero and role model to numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. A true friend admired by many and loved by all. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas; 9521 North Loop Dr. Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church; 9205 North Loop Dr. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
