Alan You were and are my sunshine in the morning and the stars to guide my way at night. You came to me when I needed you most. You helped me heal, you spoiled me, you shared with me, you put up with me and you loved me through all of the ups and downs of marriage, and you remained my best friend from the beginning of our relationship to the very end. We were lovers and helpmates but most of all best friends. We have explored and had adventures together that made both of us grow as people and continued to bring us closer together. Everything we have done together only helped us to know each other better and has joined our hearts as one. You were and are my soul mate my one true love. Now it is time for me to set you free, because when you truly love someone you must do what is best for them, not what is best for yourself. You are now free from pain but still with me forever in my heart.
