Adrian Anthony Nevarez

Adrian A. Nevarez, 38, was called to be with his Heavenly Father on February 19, 2009 where he joined his earthly father. He was born in El Paso on December 4, 1970 to Joe and Amelia Nevarez. Adrian was a graduate of Baylor University. He engaged in freelance marketing for various companies in Dallas and returned to serve as Vice President for Nevarez Enterprises, Inc. with his father. He is survived by his beloved mother Amelia M. Nevarez, his brothers Michael (wife Margie), David, Joe III (wife Carmen), and Robert, his nieces, nephews and his cousins. Adrian, your heart was as big as your frame. You were the last son to meet Dad on earth and the first son to greet him in Heaven. You never met a stranger since you were very young. You made friends with people from all walks of life. Your Dallas friends referred to you as “The Mayor of Dallas”. You were the glue that connected your friends. You were the youngest of the family, but wise beyond your years. We love you and will remember you always. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Homes-West, Chapel of Remembrance with a Vigil at 6:30 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
