Adolfo Murillo

Adolfo passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 23, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 8, 1930 to Sofia Rosales and Ignacio Murillo in Chihuahua, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Eduardo Murillo (Eddie). He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Socorro Murillo, daughters; Maria, Laura Murillo, Martha Mares (Tury) of Chaparral; Sons, Adolfo (Elva) of Chaparral, Frank (Martha), Jorge L. (Magda) of El Paso, Alvaro (Laura) of Houston, Ruben (Silvia) of Phoenix and 29 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He loved to travel with his family. He lived in California and El Paso and for the past 20 years he lived in Chaparral, NM. Dad had a terrific sense of humor, he had a big compassionate heart full of love, and we will always remember his smile. To our wonderful best dad, grandpa, great grandpa (gippy as many called him) we will love you forever and will miss you tremendously. Visitation will be held from 2:00PM to 9:00PM, Vigil/Rosary at 7:00PM, on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at St. Thomas More, 568 E. Lisa. Interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery in Chaparral.
