Adela Zubiate-Rodarte

Adela Zubiate-Rodarte, passed away on July 14, 2008. She was born on January 27, 1955 in El Paso TX, where she grew up and lived. Adela committed her life to a wonderful husband and raised two amazing children. She was a lifelong community member, teacher, supporter, and a role model. She worked as a librarian for over 15 years at the El Paso Community College. A true lover of the arts and all things beautiful, she possessed a love for life and a selfless generosity for others. Her enthusiastic spirit will live on forever. Survived by her husband, Tony; son, Nicholas and daughter, Sarah; parents, Carmen and Aurelio Zubiate; sister, Alicia Romero her husband Ray, and their children, Raymond, Denise, and Elizabeth; sister, Cruz Ruiz her husband Pablo, and their children, Vanessa, and Rocco; sister, Gloria Reade and her children, Andrea, Catherine, and Daniel; brother, Carlos Zubiate his wife Irma, and their children Amanda, Charlene, and Chuck. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm, Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, Chapel of Remembrance with a Vigil at 7:00 pm.
