Abigail P Franco

Abigail P. Franco (Abbie) June 16, 1944-January 25, 2009 Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2009. She is survived by her husband of nearly 45 years; Enrique (Henry) Franco, daughters Roxanne R. Franco and Christina Franco; and grandsons Addam J. Hernandez, Michael J Hernandez, and Joseph P. Hernandez. Abbie resided in Clint, TX where she worked for Clint ISD for 20 years and retired as a Teacher's Assistant in Special Education. She was a faithful member of the San Lorenzo parish. The daughter of Ambrosio and Maria Felica Perez of San Elizario, TX, Abbie was one of 14 brothers and sisters. Abbie was loved by many and highly regarded for her generosity, compassion, and warmth and was devoted to her family and her faith. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff from the 9th ward and 12th floor of William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Heartfelt thanks to all the family and friends for their prayers and support. Visitation will be held from 3-6 pm Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home – Americas with a Vigil at 7:00 pm at San Lorenzo Catholic Church, 611 Avenida de San Lorenzo, Clint, TX. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2009 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas.
