Abel Witterstauter

ABEL WITTERSTAUTER passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the age of 51 while in town for his mother’s services. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond C. Witterstauter and his mother Maria Elena Witterstauter. While attending his son’s football game, God put his arms around him and lifted him to rest. Abel was just too good for this world; He always takes the best. It broke our hearts to lose him but he didn’t go alone, for part of us went with him. The day God called you home, He left to cherish his memory, his loving wife Elizabeth “Lizzy” Hernandez, his pride and joys, son, Isiah Abel Witterstauter and daughter, Vivian Mari Witterstauter, his loving brothers Robert, Raymond, Richard and David Witterstauter, his Uncle Gustavo Bernal and many more family and loyal friends. Abel was a proud EPHS Tiger and will forever be remembered by all for his talent on the football field, his bright smile and his sweet personality. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 6:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa. Private inurnment will be held by family at a later date.
